h by MAIA is a natural, toxin-free skincare line handmade in the UK. Created by Maia, it began from a simple love of honest, natural things — and a belief that we should be as concerned about what we put on our skin as we are about what we put into our bodies.
At h, we believe that nature can provide the ingredients that your skin needs. Every one of our products is made with carefully chosen botanical and essential oils known for their nourishing, soothing, and regenerative properties. Rich in vitamins, minerals, and fatty acids, these natural ingredients work in harmony with your skin to hydrate, protect, and restore balance — naturally.
All products are made by hand in small batches to ensure freshness, as well as attention to detail and quality.

HOW IT ALL BEGAN
OUR STORY
About 20 years ago I made a conscious decision to adopt a more wholesome natural diet. As well as paying careful attention to what I was eating, I started looking into what I was putting onto my skin. This led me to research the undesirable ingredients that lurked in many mainstream skincare products. The more I read, the more I questioned why I was paying for skincare with fillers and additives that had questionable benefits for the skin. I ended up throwing away many of the skincare products I had been using for years and started experimenting with kitchen ingredients, plant oils and butters. A dream to create a natural range started to develop…
I continued to research the power and benefits of different natural oils, attended courses in natural skincare at the Centre for Naturopathic Medicine and others; and created natural blends to feed my skin.
For most of my teenage and adult life I was plagued with sensitive skin and acne. Nothing I had used had much effect, but I started to notice a significant improvement to my skin when I used these natural oil blends. I felt so encouraged by this, and loved how luxurious the products felt, so started sharing them with others. The positive feedback from family and friends gave me the impetus to set up as a business and get my products certified. Ten years later many remain loyal customers and I still use my products every day.
I named my business after one of the most inspirational women I have known – my Mother.
